Cyverlo is a trading name of Jesse Deng, a sole trader based in the UK. This page explains what personal data I collect through cyverlo.com, why, and what you can ask me to do with it. If anything here is unclear, email jesse@cyverlo.com.
Who is responsible for your data
Jesse Deng, trading as Cyverlo, is the data controller. Contact: jesse@cyverlo.com.
What I collect and why
When you fill in the meeting form
Your name, email address, business name, industry and the message you write. I use them only to reply to you, book the free audit, and follow up about work you've asked about. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract, and my legitimate interest in replying to enquiries.
I won't add you to a newsletter or marketing list, and I never sell or share your details for anyone else's marketing.
When you email me
Your email address and whatever you send. Used to reply and to keep a record of our conversation.
When you browse the site
I use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. Nothing is stored on your device and I can't see who you are, only things like pages viewed, the referring site, country and device type. The lawful basis is my legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used.
The form uses an automated bot check, and the site keeps short-lived technical logs for security, as any website does.
Cookies
This site doesn't set cookies for analytics or advertising, which is why there's no cookie banner. The bot check on the form may use strictly necessary storage to work.
Who else handles your data
I use a small number of service providers to run this site and my business, such as website hosting, email, bot protection and analytics. They act only on my instructions, are bound by contract to protect your data, and may not use it for their own purposes. Some are based outside the UK; where that's the case, transfers rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.
I don't sell your data. I'll only disclose it to anyone else if the law requires me to, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Please don't send sensitive information
The form and email are for describing your business and what you'd like automated. Please don't send passwords, bank details, health information or other sensitive data through them. If a project needs access to your systems, we'll agree a secure way to do that separately.
Security
I take reasonable steps to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access limited to what's needed. No system is completely secure, so I can't guarantee the security of data sent over the internet.
How long I keep it
- Enquiries that don't turn into work: up to 2 years, then deleted.
- Clients: for as long as we work together, then 6 years for tax and accounting records.
- Analytics: kept in aggregate form only, with no way to link it back to you.
Your rights
You can ask me to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how I use it, or stop using it. Emailjesse@cyverlo.com and I'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how I've handled your data, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live. As I'm based in the UK, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office atico.org.uk. I'd appreciate the chance to sort it out first.
Other websites
Links to other websites are provided for convenience. I'm not responsible for how those sites handle your data.

I may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, with the date at the top.
